In the next few articles, I will tell you different
methods to sell on Flippa.com.
First method:
Buy a
premium advertisement for your auction. It cost
$49 (Stand Out), or $19 (Be Bold). Your goal
here is a fast sell. You have to calculate the sale price – the costs: domain + hosting + ads +
Flippa`s fee.
For
example: you make a well looking website but its total cost is $90. When you start an auction, you will post
a lower price of $75, a reserve price of $108
(20% profit) and a buy it now price of $150
(almost twice the cost price).
In the
offer, you have to give all information about you and your website. If you are a new user, show your
accounts in Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn,
etc. If
your website has a history, tell about it – page
rank, back links, profits by different platforms or direct advertising. Attach a lot of photos of your profit in your offer auction.
Tell users where they can find all this information, too. Give them links and pictures of your checks with a profit
etc. Answer the questions – why (they bought it), what (they bought), when (delivered a
website to the new owner), how (made a payment), what`s your view about the main idea etc.
Start
your auction as long as possible at time - about 30 days. Increase the price $5 per bid.
Check the
most active auctions in Flippa.com. You will
know if it is selling fast and for how much
money. You can check it in the list of highest ranking websites in Flippa, too. Just click

Another
way to use this method is to list with a lower price and no reserve price. You will pay
only a standard tax for listing - $9.You have to tell this in a title of
auction.
For example:
you have a website for furniture –FurnitureForHome.com. Your title will be:
“Premium exact match domain FurnitureForHome.com. No RESERVE price, fast sells”.
You hope to sell it fast and with a profit.
